Goal
The goal of this module is to prepare the learner to be able to identify the correct rigid fluid line materials, construction, and fittings commonly used in aviation fluid systems. This module will cover the various fluid and gaseous systems within aviation that are critical to the safe operation of every aircraft as well as proper installation, inspection, and repair of the various lines and fittings that connect the equipment within each system. Correct and proper inspection, installation, repair, and fabrication of aviation fluid lines and fittings is vital to ensuring each system within an aircraft will operate reliably without fail as a failure of any one of these lines can cause a critical system failure during flight and can have grave consequences.
